Mike Hopta of the GlintofHope.com crew took time to get us answers to our 2007 Spewgie Q&A. Hero Envy won for Best Web Series. We’ll let Mike speak for himself, though it pains Pugilist to shut up.
[Spewgilist.com] Congratulations on your award. Can you share with us your latest news?
[Mike Hopta] We've got a new DVD set to premiere at Wizard World Philly. It inlcudes episodes 7 through 12.
[Spewgilist.com] Give us a 15 second overview of your product.
[Mike Hopta] We're a production company that produces webisodes about the geek culture.
[Spewgilist.com] If you had to pick one thing that sets your product apart in it's genre, what would that be?
[Mike Hopta] We love the subject matter (comics, video games, cartoons, etc...) just as much as the next fanboy.
[Spewgilist.com] Talk to us a little about how your product has done versus your expectations.
[Mike Hopta] We only expected to be able to express ourselves. Now we have a rabid fanbase. It's amazing what can happen in a year.

[Spewgilist.com] Any update plans for your product? New edition, special edition, expansion, etc?
[Mike Hopta] New DVD this summer, more episodes every month! A comic filling in the backstory of some of the characters should be out before the end of the year.
[Spewgilist.com] What's been the biggest surprise in 2006 about your product?
[Mike Hopta] Winning a Spewgie! Not to mention a growing fanbase.
[Spewgilist.com] Tell us about the biggest challenge in 2006 for your product or company.
[Mike Hopta] The biggest challenge was coming up with new storylines and characters.
[Spewgilist.com] Where will folks be able to see you next? Convention, event, play-day, etc?

[Mike Hopta] We're currently in the process of getting our first comic book out there, hopefully before the end of the year.
