There are so many things that catch our attention and we want to write on all of them.  Rather than shoe-horn these into an specialized area, we've flexed our fingers and slaved over a hot keyboard to create this area for reporting on events, festivals, and the occasional riot.

This will be a catch-all area so we can continue to be lazy and the dichotomy and juxtaposition of items in this area may cause you to scratch your head.  Actually, we just wanted to use dichotomy and juxtaposition together in a sentence and now we have; twice!  That alone warranted the creation of this area.
